The EG hanger is a high-capacity connector designed to support engineered wood beams. This heavy end beam and glulam hanger has top flanges to capture the top chord of the beam to prevent rotation, but can be ordered without them depending on application needs. The EG hanger has one of the highest allowable loads among all Simpson Strong-Tie® hangers.
